Bemis Company Acquires Shield Pack

NEENAH, WISCONSIN, December 1, 2011 – Bemis Company, Inc. (NYSE-BMS) today announced that it has acquired the common stock of Shield Pack, LLC of West Monroe, Louisiana, a manufacturer of high barrier liners for bulk container packaging with annual net sales of approximately $25 million. Details of the transaction were not disclosed.  This transaction does not impact Bemis’ earnings per share guidance for 2011.
