New MACtac® IMAGin® M-Series Removable Intermediate Vinyl Line Offers Affordable Media for High-Quality Graphics

STOW, Ohio - April 16, 2009 - Now, when end-users, printers and installers are all seeking ways to keep brand equity high and expenses low, MACtac® Graphic Products delivers. Launching a new line of intermediate, removable vinyl, MACtac's new IMAGin® M-Series removable media offers consistently high-quality graphics at a cost-effective price.

"End-users want graphics that are going to look great without breaking the bank, and to deliver those results, installers and printers need a durable, trusted house media that will rise above the rest and meet their budget requirements," said Mary Ann Kucera, product marketing manager, MACtac Graphic Products. IMAGin M-Series removable media is an affordable, general purpose media designed specifically for a wide range of short- to medium-term, flat to slightly curved applications such as indoor and outdoor signage, point-of-purchase displays and short-term wall graphics.

IMAGin M-Series removable vinyls are available in both matte (IMAGin EMR328) and gloss (IMAGin EMR329) finishes. The two new products consist of a 3.2-mil calendered white PVC vinyl film and are coated with MACtac's opaque, removable, acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive. The adhesive allows for clean removability on most surfaces and is protected by a stable 72# polycoated release liner that ensures easy printing.

In addition to IMAGin M-Series removable vinyls, last fall MACtac launched the IMAGin M-Series permanent intermediate vinyl line. Also available in both matte and gloss finishes, IMAGin M-Series permanent vinyls feature MACtac's high performance, opaque, permanent acrylic adhesive.

Both the removable and permanent adhesive M-Series products have an indoor durability of five to six years and an outdoor durability of four years. For additional image protection and added durability, IMAGin M-series vinyls can be paired with MACtac's PERMACOLOR® ColorGard™ overlaminate, which was designed specifically for intermediate graphics and can delay color fading that may occur over time.
